BankID is a well known Swedish system for online identification that eliminates the need for a wide array of different passwords. The system can be used for a variety of different services, such as logging on to the online bank, a customer portal or a system at work. The platform allows digital identifications with the same legitimacy as a passport and online signatures as valid as physical ones.
