I'm an illustrator based in Gothenburg, Sweden, freelance since 2008. My background is in industrial and graphic design, and it still shapes how I approach an image: I want to understand a subject before I start drawing it.
I trained at preparatory art school, studied graphic design and communication at university, and hold a bachelor's degree in industrial design.
Most of my work is editorial, often for science and technology media, alongside commissions from international organisations, publishers, cultural institutions and agencies. My work is balancing bright colors and textures with dark moody pieces - but always with a love for detail
I value commissions where I'm given a subject to interpret, rather than a picture to execute.
