I'm an illustrator based in Gothenburg, Sweden, freelance since 2008. My background is in industrial and graphic design, and it still shapes how I approach an image: I want to understand a subject before I start drawing it.
I trained at preparatory art school, studied graphic design and communication at university, and hold a bachelor's degree in industrial design.
Most of my work is editorial, often for science and technology media, alongside commissions from international organisations, publishers, cultural institutions and agencies.
I value commissions where I'm given a subject to interpret, rather than a picture to execute.
